The?revised?description for the new iPad in Australia

Despite offering customers a full refund for claiming 4G speeds with the new iPad, and changing the description on the Apple Australia website?(as well as worldwide), The Australian is reporting that Apple has agreed to pay $2.25 million to settle claims that the company's use of the term "Wi-Fi + 4G" was misleading because the device is unable to connect to the country's 4G network.

Apple is still not quite over the finish line though, the settlement still requires court approval; and according to Engadget the Judge has adjourned the case until Wednesday to gather more information.

It's not clear how the settlement will be divided up.
